ASIMO is Honda’s bipedal humanoid research robot developed to demonstrate advanced walking/running, balance, and human interaction.
Honda ASIMO is a 1.3 m tall, ~48 kg bipedal humanoid robot created as a robotics R&D and demonstration platform. It is known for stable dynamic locomotion (walking/running), stair climbing, and basic interaction tasks such as guiding or carrying small items. ASIMO was not sold as a commercial product and has been retired from active development.
